That's what we have going on in our sensory bin! A DIY winter-themed bin filled with animals from the Arctic TOOB®!

The popularity of sensory bins is incredible.@safariltd gets tagged on social media by people showing us their sensory bin creations made with our toys. Designed to stimulate a child's five senses, they're wonderful hands-on tools for kids to learn about the world through their senses! Sensory play can calm , focus and engage a child.

Sensory bins can be filled with anything rich in texture, such as rice, rocks, plastic balls, water, etc. Our bin is filled with cotton (or "snow") to follow the Winter Wonderland theme. The softness of the cotton and toughness of the figurines make an excellent contrast for the senses. For added education, all Safari Ltd® products have the name of the animal at the bottom of the figurine which contributes to learning and language development.
