Frogs - 192 pcs - Good Luck Minis®
The purpose of the Red-Eyed Tree frog’s red eyes is anyone’s guess. Some scientists have postulated that the shocking color might give predators pause. The frogs live in the rainforests spanning from southern Mexico through Central America to the northern part of South America.
The Red-Eyed Tree Frog is often seen as a symbol of conservation, particularly rainforest conservation in Central America. Although the species isn’t endangered, its rainforest certainly is. Central American rainforests diminished in the latter part of the twentieth century, going from 60% coverage to around 40% coverage.
