An excellent example of this has been the close collaboration since 1986 between the paleontologists of the Carnegie Museum of Natural History in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania and the sculptors. Out of this alliance, Safari Ltd.^® licensed and developed the Carnegie dinosaur collection which became the most accurate scale model toy dinosaurs in the world.

We also have licensed and produced an authentic, scaled sea life replica collection for the Monterey Bay Aquarium of Monterey Bay, California.

In 1980, Safari Ltd.^® began as an educational toy company out of the founders’ apartment, Bernard and Rosemarie Rubel. Today, nearly 3 generations later, we continue this commitment of educating children about the earth and its inhabitants. One way in which we accomplish this is by providing educational information in 5 languages in English, Spanish, French, German and Italian.
